Kartell's Brilliance

Many home owners today seek a sense of eclectic style and modern flair in the furnishing they deck their houses in. Design, while becoming a significant part in everyone's life, has begun to infiltrate the homes of the rich and famous in a very minimalistic way. Clean lines and futuristic style are in demand, with ideals being the plain and simple styles.

Kartell, the Italian design house, has one prime philosophy: Plastic. Through 50 over years of design revolution, Kartell has managed to incorporate furnishings made with plastic into many homes across the globe. In today's design climate, where everyone craves a modern futuristic outlook to any kind of design, Kartell explains: We are the future. Currently abuzz with design fever, the Kartell 4801 chair has been reissued in plastic. Designer Joe Colombo's magic touch on this armchair has been given a plastic twist. Wickedly Awesome.

SPACE and Beyond

An individual's interior space is a unique spot which is private and public at the same time. Private because it's where most would like to spend quiet time alone, and public because it is within this same space that most would entertain and wow guests with their choices in design. It is with this agenda that SPACE has brought us the latest from Vitra. Vitra represents the perfect blend of the shrewd calculations of engineers and artistic individuality of idealistic designers. With designers such as Antonio Cettirio and Verner Panton, this iconic Swedish brand can do no wrong in anyone's precious public, private space. With the latest collection, the iconic designers have designed everlasting pieces with both functionality and futuristic aesthetic appeal.

Turkey's Most Foremost Arbiters of Taste

Autoban is a household name. Maybe not so much for us here in sunny Singapore, but definitely in their homeland, Russia. There is no real reason why they shouldn't be on our must see list every time we consider exquisite design. Autoban, based in Istanbul, has developed from its inception to a small team of up to 35 people, made of Interior Designers and Architects. They work together on projects such both local and international, from their office in Tunel, Istanbul. Today, Autoban is exclusively available at Dream Interiors, for the eager Singaporean Market.

Autoban furniture is oriented with design to such an axis, where it would be hard to go wrong with it. The inspiration behind most of these pieces is nature, an element that most of us will  need in our households. Exploring themes close to heart with a modern perspective, Autoban furnishings use contrasting materials to achieve an exclusive feel.
